No description Hey. My upstairs (in my room) computer is being obnoxious. I believe Jamie is trying to fix it. That's not really relevant to this, though, because that computer isn't hooked up to the cable internet anyway. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* I went to Claire's last night to buy Neopets Petpet murchandise. I was in the mall anyway, because we went to dinner at a resteraunt there, so I figured I would check to see if they had anything. They did and I bought a Baabaa plushie (it's SOOOO cute) and a Doglefox necklace (because I needed a necklace pretty badly.) *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Hasn't been the greatest time in my family. My Uncle (my dad's only sibling and only living immediate family member) died from lung cancer a few days ago. He was real sick for a while. As far as I know, Colin still smokes. Now my grandad (my mom's dad) had to be taken to the hospital. I dunno what's going on. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Red Sox haven't done much to lift my spirits. If the season ended today, they wouldn't be in the playoffs, not even as the wild card. They'll get back, though, I know they will. In the meantime, it's not helping to split a series with the DEVIL RAYS and lose your first game to Baltimore. ESPECIALLY when they should have swept the Yankees and would have had the bullpen been functioning, AND should have won one of the games with the D-Rays, but blew a 4-0 lead in the 9th inning to lose 5-4. The only real bright spot is Pedro is still pitching brillantly. That's Petey. Derek pitched brilliantly too, in the aforementioned loss to the D-Rays. But Rez and Nomar have been awesome, and they'll get better. They have to. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* So much discussion of religion. This happens all the time. No one will change their position. All this "discussing" is hurting my brain. I understand everyone's position, but I have never been religious one way or the other, and I can't see myself ever becoming religious. But if it's a matter of whose opinion is more popular, religion wins all the way. I don't know if people can see have alienating it is to have stars always standing on stage and saying everything is due to God loving them. It makes me physically sick. Do they care about other people who might not be devotedly religious? Do they care that there are people who almost worship them, that they are hurting to say that? I don't think anyone who reads this can argue this point with me, because none of you (all three of you, I believe it is,) have grown up with the perspective on religion that I have (that would be, no religious aphiliation.) Now, I don't come close to worshipping anyone, but there are people who do. And there have definatly been times in my life when I wished I had been born into some form of religion. But I think it's the stupidest, most moronic thing I can hear someone think/say to say that anyone who doesn't believe in God is going to Hell. Tell me, how is THAT any better than racism, sexism, any form of discrimination? And I don't mean to offend, this is just me venting. And I hate to argue because it's pointless. But, please, think about this for a second. Because I do not believe in something, I'm going to the worst place there is when I die? If that's the way God works, I want no part of it. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Now I've worked myself up. Anyway, now I'm not sure about the Maine trip in August because my Mom might have to go to Texas. I'll keep you posted. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* PS: Thanks Bunny and Kitty for looking at and commenting on the Diary prototype.
