"The city is dying (at least to me.) The city is dead now (my kingdom for a friend.) Are you even trying (to find some peace?) Don't need a reason (I get some living in...)" OK, so it's been over a month. I am not dead. Just so you know. Don't really know why I haven't updated. Haven't been particularly busy or anything. Just, no motivation I guess. School will be out in a few weeks. It's such a mixed feeling. I'll miss everyone, but damn, do I ever need the summer to come. The worst part about summer is that I am horrible about keeping in touch with people, so besides Maggie, Ruth and MT, I don't really talk to people over the summer. And I just know that I will go back to school next year and everyone I became friends with this year will be strangers again. And then again, that could also be a good thing. Although I loved some of them, I really hated others. Overall, summer is still a good thing. Mental health = good. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* So, while I've been gone I took the MCAS. For those who don't know (and be glad you don't,) it's a test we have to pass in English and Math to graduate high school in Massachusetts. I thought it was really easy, myself. It was REALLY annoying though. You'd think they could have them at a time when teacher aren't trying to prep us for finals. Ah well, such is life. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Both brothers are home, or both brothers were home. Colin just left for Colorado and Momma and Jamie drove him to Philadelphia and are now in the DC. They're coming home tomorrow. Colin, however, is staying in Colorado for a few months. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* I cannot believe I let it get 2/3 of the way through the Triple Crown without an update! Funny Cide became the first gelding in a very long time to win the Derby, and then he won the Preakness. The Belmont is in two weeks. Exciting! Red Sox are heading into Yankee Stadium tomorrow and Roger Clemens is going for win #300. Roger Clemens used to pitch for the Red Sox (and really well, too) until, in 1996, our hated ex-GM Dan Duquette, stated that Clemens was in the "twilight of his career" and let him go. He headed to Toronto for a few years, was awesome, and headed to *gasp* the Yankees. He's been awesome there too. 300 career wins is a HUGE deal in baseball, and there's a whole saga because Clemens will try and get it against the Red Sox. The Red Sox are 1.5 games ahead of the Yankees in the AL East right now. Drama, drama. The Yanks came to Fenway last week in a dead heat with the Sox for first, and actually left a game ahead, but now they're back the 1.5 games behind. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* I don't know what it is, but I have been REALLY tired all week. No reason for it, I've been sleeping, I just am tired. It's quite odd. I don't think I'm sick or anything, just tired. At least, I hope I'm not sick or anything :-( *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Oh, I know! I saw the Matrix Reloaded, then I actually watched the Matrix, and then proceeded to watch the Matrix Reloaded again. First time, I went with my advising class. I decided that, since Reloaded was VERY confusing, I ought to actually watch the Matrix. So I did that, then had to see Reloaded again with my friend for his birthday. I've decided that it's still really confusing. I guess I didn't like it much. It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't too good either. Just kinda blah. The ending was HORRIBLE. Otherwise, blah. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Next year I'm gonna be a junior. That's surreal. You know, I started this diary summer before freshman year. That's crazy. Time goes WAY too fast.
