D-Lowe! and I'll be back...

Me is very happy! Derek Lowe has pitched a no-hitter! (Although, this isn't exactly new news since it happened this afternoon.) He totally deserved it. He had a truly rough season last year, and now he's pitching great. He made a totally sweet (like nice, not like cool) comment about how he deserved all the questions he got last year, and how he's glad the fans stuck with him. Yay! But I was watching Baseball Tonight on ESPN, and they kept talking about how the Yankees pitcher was in the process of pitching a no-hitter, and that if he did, it would upstage Lowe because it's harder to do against the Mariners. However, the Mariners, like the good players they are, broke the no-hitter with one hit, and won on just one hit. Good old Mariners. Those announcers were truly starting to piss me off.

So, I'm going to Baltimore and DC tomorrow because this is the trip my parents were supposed to take Jamie on last weekend, but instead they're going this weekend, and I decided to come. We're staying with my aunt, uncle and cousin in DC. We probably will have Internet access, but I don't know how much I'll be able to get on it.

And the Kentucky Derby is a week away! I'm so excited! Only problem being that I no longer have a favorite for it, as I REFUSE to root for Repent's stablemate, Harlan's Holiday, who is the favorite, and from what I've seen, no other horse impresses me that much. We'll see. But, anyway, everyone watch! Next Saturday on NBC. And Bunny, I'm sorry that there will be millions of tourists in your town.
