"And everything else is irrelevant, to the story so far..." OK, this is an entry I wrote in school yesterday. I'm gonna put up an entry about today after I finish typing this one. 10:50 PM, 12/13/02: This period is SUCH a joke. I'm supposed to help my guidance counselor in the office, but mostly I just do nothing. Today I have no homework or anything to do either, so I’m just gonna write this. You hear a lot of interesting things in this office. For example, two girls just walked in with security, yelling at each other. They were arguing because one of them has a loud voice. What a stupid thing to yell about. I love my Italian class (I just had it.) It was hilarious today. We were playing a game that was a competition between rows (Jake says “Aren’t desks in rows fascist?”) What you do in the game is that she says a word in English, the first person writes it in Italian, the next people check it, and the last person yells it out. However, our group was cheating and not even writing down the answer, just passing the paper back and having the last person yell out the answer. The funniest part was when Jake yelled at Kevin, “Why did you write down the answer!?” Like it was the worst thing in the world to do, and Kevin said, “I didn’t write down THE answer!” Jake responded with “I know, but why did you write down A answer?” Kevin had written down the word for daughter instead of the word for sister. That class is just always funny. My old Spanish teacher (from 8th grade) just walked in. He teaches here now. Thank God I don’t have him anymore, he was awful. I dislike the baseball off-season greatly. For one thing, I miss watching baseball. But really, I’m just getting upset because my favorite players are in jeopardy. Daubach probably won’t be resigned and Hilly is the subject of about 50,000 trade rumors. I hate it. I would die if there wasn’t either Daubs or Hilly next season. I hope they both stay. In the meantime I have to try to focus on basketball and football. Celts and Pats doing fairly well. Pats have some big games coming up. Ah well, I don’t really like football anyway, I mostly focus on basketball. Sixers were doing awesome, but fell into a three-game losing streak, Celts doing very well, Wizards and my Lue sucking, and the Lakers were awful, but they’re getting better. I’m so sick. I really do not feel good. I wish I were at home. The worst part of the day is still to come though. I love dance, but it is NOT good for a sick person. Also, History and Lit might bore me to death. When you’re sick, you need something to take your mind off of it. That’s why I’m doing this now. It’s better than sitting here doing nothing. Let’s see, what’s happening ‘round here that I haven’t mentioned? Not much. First meeting about Drama Fest is on Monday. I’m excited to find out what play it’ll be. Apparently, we’re making two sets at once. Not good. We barely have time to make ONE, and we’re NOT taking time away from Festival for some play the other Drama teacher wants to make for elementary school kids. I don’t know exactly what’s happening yet; so I’m hoping this will all be cleared up on Monday. I don’t know if I’m ready to give up all of my time again. Good thing we’ve got vacation first. Oh, that’s the other thing. My birthday’s in 8 days! And only 12 days till Christmas! That’s exciting. I can’t believe I’ve written all of this and I still have 10 minutes of doing nothing left. Time drags on. Jerry and Harriet just wandered in and out again. Boring, boring, boring. Oh, it’s Friday the 13th, isn’t it? Fun. I want to go to lunch! Only 5 minutes now. Now 3. Finally! It’s time for me to go, lunch awaits!
