New layout and a Merry Christmas!
Wahoo! I got a Plus site on Angelfire (for a fee, I would have gotten a D-Land Gold account, but I really don't wanna tell my parents about this.) Now the layout is all coolified and everything. Remember this one from a long time ago? Now I have image hosting, so I can do it! I know it's rather out of season, but it'll be OK. I've gotta replace the contact image at some point, since Ugie is sadly gone, but that's fixable and not urgent. Anyhow, comments!

Sorry I didn't update on Christmas, my mom didn't want any "screens" on Christmas Day. Presents? Jamie got me a Red Sox hat, which I am now wearing backwards. Parents (or "Santa") got me an MP3 player. It is the coolest thing in the world! So tiny. And it's so easy to download music onto! Colin got me a very nice little box. I can't figure out a better adjective to describe it. It's not exactly pretty, but it's not meant to be. I like it a lot. Dad got me a book of funny tales about Red Sox players. It's good, I finished it already ;-) I especially like in the back, the Anti-Yankee jokes. I've head them all before, but they're still great. I'll type one up at the end of this entry for ya. I got 3 sweaters, two of which I'm keeping, and new pajamas, which are very cool. Momma got me a charm bracelet. Let's see, the charms are: the faces for drama, a racehorse and jockey, a Western saddle, an A, a dog that looks a lot like my puppy (who's not really a puppy) and a baseball player with a bat. Nice. That came in a pretty little heart-shaped box (like the Nirvana song, heeheehee.) Colin is already gone (had to be back for debate team) but Jamie's sticking around for a while. I'm still sick, but it's just a cold. It's not disabling, just annoying. Oh, and I got 2 new pairs of headphones (came together) so now I have 5 pairs. I had my old beat up ones, and the small ones you stick in your ears already. I got another pair of the small ones with the MP3 player, and the 2 pairs I got as a present. Lots of headphones.

A first-grade teacher in New York City explains to her class that she is a Yankees fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they were Yankees fans too. Not really knowing what a Yankees fan was but wanting to be just like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like fleshy fireworks.
There is, however, one exception. A girl named Lucy did not go along with the crowd.
The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. "Because I'm not a Yankees fan."
Then, asks the teacher, what are you? "Why, I'm proud to be a Red Sox fan," boasts the little girl. The eacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Lucy why she is a Red Sox fan.
"Well, My Dad and Mom are Red Sox fans, and I'm a Red Sox fan too."
The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason," she says loudly. "What if your Mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron. What would you be then?"
A pause, and a smile. "Then," says Lucy "I'd be a Yankees fan."
