"You're not bigger than this, not better, why can't you learn?"

Hey. It's been a good few days, I suppose. You'd better believe I've been up until 3:00 these past 3 days. I stay up until 1:30 watching the Red Sox, then come downstairs and do what I need to do on the computer, then go back upstairs, watch a little TV, and then attempt to fall asleep, which is hard, because I'm usually too hyper.

Speaking of the Red Sox, it has been a pretty good few days for them. OK, so the first day wasn't so good. Fossum pitched pretty good, but they lost a close game 5-4. But the second day...well that was fun. Pedro was pitching. Needless to say, they won. 6-0. However, the biggest thing that happened that day was...the Red Sox got Cliff Floyd in a trade with the Expos. Cliff Floyd is a good player and hitter, plus he's friends with the hitting coach and one of the owners, and he knows Pedro and Ugie. Petey says he's a very nice guy. Anyway, people keep saying this trade was fixed. The reason for this is as follows. Jeffrey Loria owned the Expos, and COMPLETELY ruined them until this year. John Henry owned the Marlins, who aren't very good themselves. Loria didn't want the Expos anymore because they were so hopeless, so Major League Baseball and the commisioner, Bud Selig, took the Expos, and they own them for this year. John Henry wanted to buy the Red Sox, but to do so, he had to get someone to buy the Marlins. Now, people say that Bud Selig allowed Loria to buy the Marlins and leave the Expos because he wanted John Henry to own the Red Sox. Anyway, so now John Henry is partial owner of the Sox. So, with Cliff Floyd, people are upset because he was traded from the Marlins to the Expos to the Red Sox, and they think that's a conspiracy. Oh well, we've complained so much about the Yankees, I guess we deserve to get cmplained about a little too. Anyways, Floyd hasn't started playing for the Sox yet, he starts today, which brings me to...yesterday the Sox had another good day. They beat the Angels in a CLOSE game 2-1. Beautiful pitching by Wakefield and the bullpen. Almost gave me a heart attack though. Hilly made the final out with a great play. They also got Bobby Howry, a relief pitcher, from the White Sox. However, my dad doesn't think I'll like him; he says Howry's inconsistent. Let's hope not.

Yesterday I went riding. I've just been going to the stable under it's previous ownership, because the other guy moved to Rhode Island and it's too far away, and not many people are going. I rode Quintan, who I had ridden a few times a while ago. He was pretty good, but it was incredably hot and I didn't get a break the entire hour. I was at least trotting for an hour solid. At the end of the lesson when we were cantering, Quintan stumbled and almost fell, but I stayed on. My hands were so sore afterwards, though, from gripping the reins so tight.

So, now my parents have to go to New Orleans, so we're going to Maine from the 4th-7th. Although I'm sorry they have to go to New Orleans, I'm glad we have to come back because I get to watch the Red Sox/Oakland games (at least the last two.) I also don't know if I can ride on Saturday because they might not be around.
