It has been a very eventful vacation. Somehow I knew it would be, because it's bad timing for a vacation anyway. I did not feel the need for vacation in a really long time, and then they give me one, plus it snows during vacation just to rub in the fact that we will NEVER get a snow day. Ugh. But anyway...

Speaking of snow, the first thing I did was go sledding in this 2 feet of snow we got. Went to a place really close by with MT, her little sister, and her little sister's friend. It was really fun, but walking up the hill gets TIRING. Plus, on the way home I kept almost twisting my ankle walking in the snow :-(

I then cleaned my room! That is a huge accomplishment for me because my room was extremely dirty and had been for a long time. Now I can actually spend time in it again, instead of living in Colin's room :-)

Yesterday I went to that techie movie night thing I was talking about. Oddly enough, they did invite me and MT at the last minute... Anyway, it was OK. Good movies, but I get that vibe from certain people that I'm not wanted. I'm probably just being paranoid. We watched Spaceballs (which I had already seen) and The Sifl and Olly Show (although we weren't ACTUALLY watching it the whole time, as most of the time there was good-natured arguing drowning out the movie.) Highlight was Ruth not being able to figure out a double-sided DVD, saying "I'll go ask Maggie, she not retarded!" She proceeded to barge in on her sister in the bathroom, emerging with the news, "One side is widescreen, the other is regular!" Everyone seemed quite impressed by this. Frightening, huh?

Today I did mostly relax, although I took the dog for a walk. Does that count? :-P I had to wait for a person to come and look at our furnace anyway. Stupid people with their vague times. 12-4. You'd think they could be more specific, but no. They insist on vagueness. Oh well, I suppose I'll survive.

Riding tommorow!! Excitement! Horse racing has begun in full swing again. My horse for this year's Triple Crown (if he recovers) is Toccet. Not taking a big risk there, but whatever! Celts had a very good road trip in the West, going 4-2. Lakers doing well (knock on wood, they're playing right now...) Kobe's scored 35 or more in 11 straight games, 40 or more in 7 straight. He's pretty good ;-) First Spring Training game on TV on Friday!!!! Spring Training isn't that great, but I'll surely watch on Sunday as Friday I'm at school until 9:00 (like all of next week.) Anyhow, I'll report back to you on that. Hilly's still around and everyone's healthy (knock on wood again.)
