"I'm like a lovesick puppy chasing you around..."

I had a great time today. Things are starting to feel better. About time too. It's only, what, 2 weeks till school. At the stable today they were playing "Why Don't You And I" (which, after extensive research [;-) at Priire] turns out to be written by Chad Kroeger and performed by Santana featuring Alex Band from The Calling) and I was in the aisle by myself, June was in the ring, Isabella and Shannon were off finding the stablehands. I had fun. I was playing with Amadeus and I was singing to him and teaching him to lick, NOT bite. Then I ran up the aisle and sang with Camelot, and I just had a lot of fun. Tomorrow I'm finding a camera and taking pictures of the horses. Anyway, I've been in a relatively good mood all day. For at least until the end of the summer, I will not be riding on Saturdays (thank God, I can't stand Rachel anymore, Shana's not too bad) but on Tuesdays with Shannon and we will be able to jump! Jen (the new instructor) has been bringing her son Forest, and he so has a crush on either me or Shannon. I think it's Shannon, cause he keeps teasing her, but he keeps being nice to me, so I dunno. He's 12. Shannon's 11. If only she liked him, it would be cute. On Saturday, we had CHAOS. We were already a little behind schedule, and then Purple hurt her leg. We thought she could have fractured it, so we had to get a vet immediatly. Gloria, her owner, was off at a show. It turned out she just got a cut, and didn't even need stitches. Then Gloria's other horse, Baby, got her hoof stuck in her stall guard. She was fine. Our lesson got really delayed. Then Camelot was not good at all, so I postponed my lesson and made it a private later in the week. Anyway, I wish school would not start.

Speaking of which, I STILL haven't gotten my schedule. Teddy says they sent them out on Friday. Thankfully. I should get it soon, then. I'm excited. And nervous. And I really don't wanna go back there. I'm getting used to being the oldest, the smartest, and totally accepted. At school, I am none of the above. However, I will be a junior! Bossing around underclassmen...fun.

I can't wait to take MT to the barn. Isabella and her will be chatting away in Portuegese, and then Marco will start talking to her in Spanish, and I bet he'll have a crush on her, but that'll suck for him, cause having a crush on MT is most likely a painful process. And it'll just be fun having her there, you know. It's ridiculous how little I've seen of everyone this summer.

The one thing that's bothering me about going back to school is that I felt like throwing up when I talked to Chris today. Just imagining having to see him everyday again...ugh. Hopefully, I won't have classes with him. Without Sam and Teddy, I would have murdered him last year. I won't have classes with Teddy, but we'll see about Sam and Chris. I kind of miss being the queen of the boys.

I know this country's really down on the French right now, and I don't mean to be biased based on a small sample, but I have met 3 French people in the past year and they are all the most obnoxious people in the world. Once again, just an observation, not necessarily a reflection on the French in general. Hell, we've taken away their fries, do we really need to take away their reputation too? (Yes, cause that's what America does best. Idiots.)
