What is wrong with this world?
You know what's really sad? Before I can even vote, I've given up on voting. What is with this bullshit? It's quite laughable that a decidedly Democratic state like MA can keep electing Republican governors. However, it wouldn't make a difference to me really, since the Democratic and Republican candidates were mostly alike, except there's this fucking stupid bilingual program law thing that passed. It basically gets rid of all bilingual programs in the state and makes it so teachers can be sued for talking to kids in their native language. WHAT THE FUCK? Now, some people don't know, cause they haven't seen any good bilingual programs, but we have, like, some of the best ones in Cambridge, and to take them away is bullshit. What, you expect kids to excel in a classroom where they can't understand a word the teacher says? And the worst part is, the people who this effects don't even get to vote. The kids and the immigrants. Those are the people who know. So surprise, surprise, this law passes. Geee, so glad everyone who it DIDN'T matter to got to vote for it. Makes a fucking lot of sense. I'm getting so cynical.
